I enjoy pranks, and can definitely admire a harmless and clever prank. I had a few prankster friends in college... nothing serious, just every now and then... when the time was right. I also feel I've done my fair share of pranks on people too.
Recently there's been a video going around about this guy that was able to do what Icarus was not... fly! It's pretty cool, and he went to the depth to build up his story for a few months over here. Cause a bunch of hype, whether it's real or not, but in the end just wanted to keep everyone on their toes with a good fake video.
So with that being said, and it being close to April Fools Day... I guess I'll just have to recount a few random pranks I've done or have been to me.
Pranks pulled on me:
I've had my room covered in foil (well I should say, I helped to let the pranksters in and assisted with foiling my roommates stuff). I've had all my right shoes taken so only the left shoe remained. I've had an infestation of spoons (imagine close to 200 spoons placed in extremely obvious places and very obscure places... like in my laundry detergent).
Getting foiled! |
Leave for the evening, and this is what we came back to... our walls full of balloons. |
Pranks I've pulled/helped out with:
I've helped to attempt to fill my brother's roommate's room with balloons (I say attempt because we filled it most of the way, but it wasn't totally filled...we just ran out of balloons). I've assisted multiple times foiling someone else's room (thanks to Lucy). In retaliation to being foiled the first time, my roommates (Robbie and Hawking) and I got a bunch of yarn and made the room one giant spider web of yarn (Lucy, Joy, and Mary). In retaliation to my roommate (Ken) and my shoes being stolen, we proceeded to take the light bulb's from our prankster's room (Lucy and Kaitlin). I think one of my favorite pranks is when I was in Gresham for JVC-NW, one of my roommates (Justin) took a trip home for Easter, and while he was gone, my friend from another JV house (garrett) moved Justin's entire room (on the first floor) to an upstairs bedroom that had been empty and was then converted to look like Justin's room but on the second floor (bed, dresser, desk, and all).
It's hard to tell, but this empty room was once filled with life... and things that belong in a room too. |
Ah the fun days... Hope you enjoyed.
